Montessori Shelves {December}

Oh, don’t we love the holiday season! I do. With that said, I get caught up in – to use a phrase my Montessori instructor used last weekend – the “March of the Units”. What she means is: September = Apples, October = Pumpkins, November = Turkey and so on. Her point was more about following the child’s interests and allowing him to lead trays and works. I get it. It resonated with me BIG time.

In any event, with that idea in mind as I prepared our December trays, I thought I should share them with you.
