Toot and Puddle

We love Toot & Puddle. If you don’t know them, they are a sweet pair of curious and adventurous pigs inspired by the National Geographic. Best friends, they love one another and care for one another as best friends should.

Plus they travel the world and have warm and happy celebrations with friends and on holidays. We love to be a part of their lives because they teach us about friendship, loyalty, and finding solutions to everyday problems and help us be curious about the world around us.

Toot & puddle I’ll Be Home for Christmas is adorable. Puddle is away in Scotland for a family gathering and promises to be home for the holidays. Unfortunately, the weather and subsequent flight delays make Puddle dangerously close to breaking this promise. However, in a stroke of luck, Puddle meets a stranger that helps him get home to Woodcock Pocket safe and sound for Christmas.

What I love most about these stories is that the message is pure. It is about the unconditional love between two friends that is never strange but always makes us feel warm and, at least for me, loyal. Plus, the illustrations are always fitting to the message. They are warm and beautiful.

So, I recommend this book—a sweet read for 2-7-year-old children, especially around the holidays. We have been borrowing this book from the local branch of our library, but we will be buying this one from Amazon for sure.
