Science experiments are magical to kids and, let’s face it, to adults, too. By creating hands-on science lessons beginning in preschool and kindergarten (heck, even toddlers love science activities!), you will not only engage kids to want to learn more but you may have a lifetime lover of science on your hands. Igniting a desire to want to learn more is not an easy task but there are simple ways to introduce kids to science.
Embrace the eye-opening moments with children. Science in all its glory delivers these moments to us every day. Often right in front of our eyes, in our everyday lives, there are science lessons. Over the past several years I have created and experimented with a variety of science topics. So, I thought I would share the master list with you. These science activities for kids will spark that desire to want to dig deeper and will open your child’s eyes to the wonders of science.
Simple & Fun Science Experiments for Preschoolers
Kids are natural explorers. They are born little scientists. Our job is to keep that love and drive going into adulthood. Think we can do it? You’re on, friend.
What is a scientist?… We give the name scientist to the type of man who has felt experiment to be a means guiding him to search out the deep truth of life, to lift a veil from its fascinating secrets, and who, in this pursuit, has felt arising within him a love for the mysteries of nature, so passionate as to annihilate the thought of himself. ~ Dr. Maria Montessori
