Starting Solids

This guide is an evolution. Currently the information is divided by 1) GEAR you should consider before getting started, 2) RESOURCES including books and websites, 3) our favorite OFF THE SHELF BABY AND TODDLER FOOD when life gets too busy and inconvenient to make homemade food and 4) BLOG POSTS . I included a sampling of Carrots are Orange blog posts that I hope you will find useful in your journey of starting solids with your child.

One point I need to make and emphasize to you all is that no matter how much you read on the web or in books, please speak with your child’s pediatrician before starting solids and if you have questions and/or concerns with regards to this process. He/she will be your best resource.

  1. Gear
  2. Resources – Books and Websites
  3. Off the Shelf Baby and Toddler Food
  4. Blog Posts

Please don’t forget to visit the Carrots are Orange Amazon store where you can find all sorts of goodies mentioned in this guide. I do not get paid for writing this blog. Purchasing via the CAO store is at no cost to you and I receive a tiny commission of the revenue from Amazon. Thank you!
