I can thank my friend, Carmen, for inspiring this DIY Dry Erase Board addition to our home ‘command center’. Lately I have been a connoisseur, so to speak, of dry erase boards. Stop laughing. I’m not kidding. I’ve been searching for best practices in managing our increasingly busy life with three young sons. I’ve research routine charts, finding a combination of a few that worked for us (a magnetic dry erase board with these cool routine cards).
DIY Dry Erase Board
- This DIY Dry Erase Board is simple. Trust me.
- Your first step is to find a frame.
- Then remove the picture from the frame.
- Next, find a good spot in your commend center to hang the frame.
- Finally, add a dry erase marker. I found these perfect Magnetic Dry Erase Markers

Still, I wasn’t satisfied, it looked too plain for me. So, I remembered I had purchased a sweet and simple wishbone print from Etsy. I used it as holiday decor but kind of works for a ‘wish’ list of groceries, to-dos, meal planning, etc, right?
It added just the right touch to make me smile.
Let me know how your DIY Dry Erase Board turned out for you!
