Hi friends! So excited for this post because it involves 1) a printable and 2) one of my all time favorite topics: gardening! One part of my journey to a more simple life is to simplify what goes into my body. Connecting with the food that goes into our bodies sounds a bit silly but packs a powerful punch. Educating ourselves about the plants we eat is a big part.
Learning about what makes a plant grow connects us to that plant, at least for me. What I mean is that once I understand what a plant or animal for that matters needs to grow and to thrive in their environment. When I understand why a slug exists, what it’s role is in our ecosystem, for example, they don’t annoy me as much. I actually appreciate them.
Maybe I should have chosen a different example. Ants? Spiders?
You get my point.
Same goes with eating. Learning about our bodies and the impact of certain foods on our bodies.
I created this Parts of the Plants We Eat printable to help us (adults & kids) understand a bit more about our food.
